How to choose a ruler for school?

A ruler is a thin strip of metal, wood, or plastic with straight edges and length measurement markings along the edges. It is a measuring tool used for precision measurements. Rulers are used to aligning, draw, mark, and cut. They are generally used in mathematics, geometry, technical drawing, carpentry, engineering, and different fields of printing.
When it comes to rules for school, there are different types of rules available in the market that you can choose from. School rulers are short length measuring instruments, mostly 12”. Steel ruler

A straight ruler is a simple piece of metal that has sharp edges and measurement markings. They can be rigid or flexible and are generally 6" to 12" in length. Steel rules are thinner than desk rules, making measurements more accurate since the markings are close to the surface. Due to their accuracy and precision in measurement, they are mainly used in technical drawing, engineering, and geometry.
